These treatments can be combined with injectables to further enhance your results, delivering a natural, refreshed look. By addressing your concerns from multiple angles, we help you achieve a more holistic, long-lasting transformation.

  • Personalized, Minimal Approach

Your goals are unique, and so is your treatment. Whether you want a noticeable change or a more subtle, gradual enhancement, we’ll craft a treatment plan tailored just for you. Plus, by treating the whole face with precision, we often use less Botox® while still delivering natural, beautiful results.

At Kaiz Skin Body & Injectable, your treatment will be handled by one of our highly trained injectors, who has worked under the renowned Dr. Tim Pearce. We take the time to ensure you’re completely comfortable and confident before moving forward.

While the Botox® Xeomin® treatment itself only takes about 15 minutes, we book 30-minute appointments so we can fully discuss your goals and customize the treatment to suit you. Our approach is always personalized, with your safety and satisfaction as the top priority.

Aftercare
You can return to your normal activities right after your treatment, though we recommend avoiding heavy exercise, alcohol, and saunas for the next four hours.

It usually takes 1 to 3 days for Botox® Xeomin® to start working, with full results visible in about two weeks. If it’s your first time with us, or if you’re treating a new area, we recommend a complimentary follow-up two weeks later to review your results.

A full dose of Botox® Xeomin® typically lasts 3 to 4 months. With regular treatments, many clients find their results last even longer.

Botox® and Xeomin® FAQ

What are Botox® and Xeomin®?

Botox® and Xeomin® are both prescription medicines made from botulinum toxin type A. They are used to temporarily reduce facial wrinkles such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. They work by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles, resulting in smoother, younger-looking skin. Xeomin® is a “naked” form of botulinum toxin, meaning it contains no accessory proteins, which some patients may prefer.

They work by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles, resulting in smoother, younger-looking skin. Xeomin® is a “naked” form of botulinum toxin, meaning it contains no accessory proteins, which some patients may prefer.

Yes, both Botox® and Xeomin® are approved by Medsafe in New Zealand and have been safely used for cosmetic and medical purposes for many years. Both treatments are considered safe when administered by trained medical professionals.

Both Botox® and Xeomin® are commonly used to treat:

  • Frown lines (between the eyebrows)
  • Forehead lines
  • Crow’s feet (around the eyes)
  • Bunny lines (on the nose)
  • Vertical lip lines
  • Neck bands (platysmal bands)

In addition, Botox® can also be used to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) and other medical conditions like chronic migraines.

The actual injection process takes about 10 to 15 minutes for both treatments. However, your full appointment may last around 30 minutes to allow for consultation and preparation.

Both Botox® and Xeomin® typically last around 3 to 4 months, depending on the individual and the area treated. Over time, the effects wear off as the muscles regain movement, and follow-up treatments may be necessary to maintain results.

Most patients experience only minimal discomfort during Botox® or Xeomin® treatments. The needles used are very fine, and the procedure is quick. Some patients may feel a slight pinching sensation. If needed, a numbing cream can be applied beforehand to reduce discomfort.

For Botox®, results usually start to appear within 3 to 5 days, with full results visible in about 2 weeks.
Xeomin® can also take effect in a similar timeframe, though some patients report slightly faster results with Xeomin®. Full effects will also be noticeable within 2 weeks.

After treatment with either Botox® or Xeomin®, it is recommended to avoid:

  • Strenuous exercise, alcohol, and saunas for at least 4 hours
  • Lying down for 4 hours
  • Rubbing or massaging the treated area These precautions help prevent the toxin from spreading to unintended areas.

Mild side effects such as redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site can occur with both treatments but usually resolve within a few days. In rare cases, patients may experience side effects like drooping eyelids or eyebrows, headaches, or flu-like symptoms. If any side effects are persistent or concerning, contact your healthcare provider immediately.

Pricing for both Botox® and Xeomin® is typically similar, ranging from $20 to $25 per unit. Our clinic offered $18 for casual visit, $16 for Kaiz’s VIP member. The total cost will depend on the number of units needed to achieve the desired results, which can vary by individual and treatment area.

Neither Botox® nor Xeomin® is recommended for individuals who:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have a history of neuromuscular disorders
  • Are allergic to any ingredients in botulinum toxin products
  • Have an infection or skin condition in the treatment area

Both Botox® and Xeomin® treatments typically last for 3 to 4 months. With regular treatments, some clients find their results last longer over time. To maintain your desired look, schedule follow-up treatments as needed.

When administered by a skilled injector, both Botox® and Xeomin® will leave your face looking natural, not frozen. The goal is to soften the appearance of wrinkles while allowing for natural expressions.

While Botox® and Xeomin® are both made from botulinum toxin type A, Xeomin® is a purified form without accessory proteins. This can reduce the risk of your body developing resistance to the treatment over time. Both products are effective, and your injector can help you decide which one is best suited to your needs.

Yes, all cosmetic injectable consultations at Kaiz Skin Body & Injectable are complimentary. This gives you the opportunity to discuss your goals and get a customized treatment plan tailored specifically for you.
