How Does Our Cellulite Treatment Work?
Powershape 2 uses a 2MHz RF (Radiofrequency) energy signal that creates heat as it moves through the skin. When the deeper layers of the skin, rich in collagen, are warmed to over 60°C, the collagen fibers tighten and thicken. This heat also sparks a natural healing response that encourages new collagen growth, leaving the skin looking firmer, tighter, and more youthful.
Advanced Radiofrequency Technology
Our PowerShape 2 machine is designed to deliver powerful body contouring and skin-firming results, combining three advanced technologies:
-
Low-Level Laser
Generates deep thermal heating in the connective tissue, effectively targeting the fibrous septae that cause the "orange peel" look of cellulite.
-
Radio Frequency (RF)
Stimulates collagen production and boosts cellular metabolism, visibly reducing skin laxity and smoothing contours.
-
Vacuum Suction with Dynamic Pulses
Increases blood flow and promotes lymphatic drainage, enhancing treatment effectiveness and skin health.
Treatment Benefits

CELLULITE TREATMENT FAQ
What causes cellulite?
Cellulite is caused by fat cells pushing against connective tissue under the skin, creating a dimpled, uneven appearance. Factors include genetics, lifestyle, and hormonal changes.
How does cellulite treatment work?
Cellulite treatments often use energy-based devices (such as radiofrequency or laser therapy) to break down fat deposits, stimulate collagen, and smooth out the skin’s surface.
Is cellulite treatment painful?
Most cellulite treatments are minimally invasive and may cause mild discomfort, like a warming sensation or slight tingling, but are generally well-tolerated.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies based on the severity of cellulite and the treatment type. Typically, 4-8 sessions spaced a week or two apart are recommended for optimal results.
Are results permanent?
Results are long-lasting with maintenance, but lifestyle factors and aging can affect the appearance of cellulite over time, so periodic follow-ups may be recommended.
How soon will I see results?
Some clients see improvement after a few sessions, but noticeable results are usually visible within 4-6 weeks as the body naturally processes the treated fat and collagen production increases.
Is there any downtime after treatment?
No, cellulite treatments are non-invasive, and most clients can return to their daily activities immediately, although mild redness or swelling might occur temporarily.
Who is a good candidate for cellulite treatment?
Most people with mild to moderate cellulite can benefit from treatment, especially those looking for non-surgical solutions. A consultation is recommended to assess individual suitability.
Can cellulite treatment help with skin tightening?
Yes, many cellulite treatments stimulate collagen production, which helps improve skin texture and firmness, contributing to smoother, tighter skin.
How should I prepare for my cellulite treatment?
Generally, clients are advised to stay hydrated, avoid tanning before treatment, and refrain from applying lotions or creams on the treatment area on the day of the appointment.
