Cellulite refers to the dimpled or uneven appearance that can develop on the skin, commonly around the thighs, buttocks, hips and abdomen. It is common and can occur across different body types.
Cellulite's appearance is associated with the structure of the tissue beneath the skin and how the skin and underlying tissue interact. Its appearance can vary from person to person.
Cellulite is not determined by body size alone. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess the area you're concerned about and discuss the treatment options that may be appropriate for you.
Cellulite can look different from person to person. The descriptions below illustrate common differences in appearance. They are for general information and are not a clinical diagnosis.

Skin may appear smooth when standing or lying down, with dimpling becoming noticeable when the skin is pinched or muscles are flexed.

Dimpling may be noticeable while standing and less apparent when lying down.

More pronounced dimpling may remain visible when standing and lying down. Individual presentations can vary.
Your ALIDYA® journey begins with a consultation to discuss your concerns, assess the treatment area and explore your options. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, understand the proposed approach and make an informed decision before proceeding.
Your practitioner will assess the area you would like to treat, discuss your individual circumstances, and determine whether ALIDYA® may be suitable for you.
If treatment is appropriate and you decide to proceed, your practitioner will explain the proposed schedule and what each session involves. Sessions are currently scheduled once per week.
Your practitioner can review your treatment progress, discuss your experience, and consider whether any adjustments to your proposed plan are appropriate.
You'll receive guidance on aftercare and have the opportunity to discuss any follow-up appointments or further treatment according to your individual needs.
Every treatment journey is different. Treatment response varies between individuals. Your practitioner will discuss the treatment process, potential risks, aftercare and follow-up considerations with you during your consultation.
