Medical Grade Chemical Peel

VI Peel

Reveal. Renew.
Radiate.

VI Peel® is a medium-depth chemical peel available at Kaiz Wellness Medispa in Parnell, Auckland. It combines TCA, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol and vitamin C to address pigmentation, congestion, fine lines and uneven texture — with a predictable 5–7 day shedding window.

What Is the VI Peel®?

Medium Depth. Predictable Recovery.

Unlike superficial peels that work only on the surface layer, VI Peel® penetrates the deep epidermis and upper dermis. That depth is what allows it to influence pigment, congestion and collagen — while the self-neutralising formula keeps the process controlled and consistent from client to client.

It is a medical treatment, applied only by trained clinicians. At KAIZ every peel begins with a Zetta® 3D skin analysis so the formula, strength and interval are matched to what your skin is actually showing beneath the surface — not just what is visible in the mirror.

Results vary between individuals. Your clinician will discuss what is realistic for your skin, and whether a peel, a course of peels, or a different pathway is the better option for you.

Why Clients Choose It

Treatment Benefits

Refines Skin Texture

Accelerates cellular turnover to soften rough texture and refine the appearance of pores.

Targets Pigmentation

Supports a more even tone across sun damage, post-inflammatory pigmentation and melasma.

Congestion & Breakouts

Salicylic acid works within the pore to help reduce congestion and blemish activity.

Supports Collagen

TCA and retinoic acid work in the deep epidermis and upper dermis to support collagen renewal.

Comfortable Application

A self-neutralising formula with a numbing agent — most clients report warmth or light tingling only.

All Fitzpatrick Types

Formulated for use across all skin tones, including deeper phototypes, under clinical supervision.

What to Expect

The Peel Timeline

Consultation

Zetta® 3D skin analysis and medical history review. Your clinician selects the VI Peel® formula matched to your skin type and concern.

Treatment day

The skin is cleansed and degreased, then the peel is layered on. Application takes around 30 minutes in clinic. You leave with the solution still on the skin.

Day 1

The peel solution is washed off at home per your protocol. Skin looks tight and slightly bronzed; makeup is generally avoided.

Days 2–3

Light peeling usually begins around the mouth and nose, spreading outward. Post-peel towelettes are applied as directed.

Days 4–5

Peeling is at its most visible. Never pick or pull the skin — allow it to shed naturally.

Days 6–7

Shedding completes and fresh skin is revealed. Sun protection remains essential while the new skin settles.

Peeling patterns differ between individuals — some clients shed lightly, others more visibly. Your clinician will set expectations for your skin.
